The parallel world our dear friends, the Bitizens, live: The Bitizens Metaverse!

This world is made up of several components. The following sections of the whitepaper will describe them in further detail. In this section, we provide an overview of such components and how they interact together.

1. The Workaholix NFT: The way to get early access and perks

They give you the VIP status in the Bitizens Metaverse, which comes with several perks that will boost your profit.

2. The Bitizens: The citizens of the Bitizen Metaverse

They are the key to enter the Bitizens Metaverse. With them, you play, you earn and you have fun!

3. The Games: The connection between humans and Bitizens

Through gaming is how you interact with the Bitizens routine, compete against other players, earn tokens and game items, and much more. Ultimately, the main place to Play and Earn. The first game introduced is the “Get to Work” game.

4. The Tokens: The currencies within the Bitizens Metaverse

Initially, the $BTZ will serve as both governance and utility token. In a later stage of the project, when the ecosystem and its economy stabilizes, a new utility token will be introduced, and $BTZ will remain as governance token.

5. The Real Estate: Home sweet home

Bitizens love to work, and humans love the profit their work produces. But in order to work efficiently, they need to rest. Thus, having a place to crash is a necessity for Bitizens. Players will be able to own a Real Estate (an apartment, for instance) and charge Bitizens owners a renting fee. A great opportunity to interact with the Metaverse and make additional profit.

6. The Stock Market: Shared infrastructure

For a society to properly function, a heavy and expensive infrastructure is required. For example, in order to commute between home and workplace, Bitizens need transportation. Creating a transport company (whether it’s a bus line or a taxi fleet) is expensive. In the Stock Market, you will be able to own a piece of those companies and get a share of their profit.

7. The Breeding System: Bringing new Bitizens to life

The Generation Zero Bitizens (referred to as simply Bitizens in the whitepaper) are limited. Once a certain number (to be determined) is reached, Bitboxes won’t be available anymore and Bitizens would only be obtainable in the marketplace. And that is when the Breeding System comes into play! Combine two Bitizens and pay a breeding fee to create a brand new Bitizen.

8. The Scholarship System: Renting your Bitizens

At a certain moment, a player might not have enough time to play and maximize profits from their Bitizens. At the same time, people might not have enough resources to buy a Bitizen and enter the Metaverse. The Scholarship System solves this problem, by allowing players to rent their Bitizens to other players. It’s profit maximization to some and the offering of Free-to-Play to others at the same time.

9. The Marketplace: Trading within the Bitizens Metaverse

The place to trade Bitizens and game items. The marketplace will be operated on our own server, not on the blockchain, saving players a lot of money on gas fees. The Workaholix NFT, due to its blockchain characteristics, will be negotiated in NFT second markets such as OpenSea.

10. The DAO: The City Hall where the future of Bitizens is decided

A Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) allows the decision regarding important aspects of the game to be made by the community. One of our main objectives is to develop the Bitizens into a community-owned organization. Naturally, this transition will happen gradually over time.
